The Brenham volleyball team beat Rudder 25-16, 25-21, 25-15 on Tuesday in District 19-5A play.

Madison Johnson had eight kills for Rudder (22-19, 2-6), while Asani Mcgee had six kills and four blocks; Kaylee Herd 18 assists, two aces; and Gracie Menchaca 15 digs.

Brenham won the JV match 25-11, 25-21 and the freshman match 25-6, 25-19. Rudder freshman Green won 25-18, 25-21 to improve to 14-8.
