Taylor Baker had 12 kills and 15 digs, and Kaylee Herd had 36 assists, 10 digs and two aces to help the Rudder volleyball team beat Waller 25-15, 25-18, 24-26, 25-22 on Friday in District 19-5A play.
Asani McGee had 10 kills and three blocks for Rudder (22-18, 2-5), while Gracie Menchaca had 18 digs; Makenna Muth 16 digs; and Jordan Little 12 digs and two aces.
The Rudder JV (9-14) lost 25-14, 25-23. Rudder’s freshmen (6-16) lost 25-8, 21-25, 25-22, and Rudder’s freshman Green (13-8) won 25-11, 14-25, 25-15.
